Now therefore, it was not you who sent me here, but God; and He has made me…ruler over all the land of Egypt. Joseph suffered more than his share of unfair treatment. First his brothers threw him into a pit, and then they sold him to a passing caravan of traders.

Joseph was next sold as a slave to an important man in Egypt. He eventually became the head slave in charge of the household, only to be falsely accused and imprisoned. He eventually won the trust of the jailor and was placed in charge of the care of the prisoners.

One prisoner was released, and he promised to plead for Joseph, but instead he forgot about him, and Joseph remained imprisoned for several years.

If you were to mathematically figure the probability that prophecies would occur accurately; that is, without any errors, it would require billion earths populated with 4 billion people each to come up with one person who could give accurate prophecies.

In other words, it would be impossible. But the Bible contains hundreds of prophecies written by a number of inspired writers over a period of centuries that already have come true.

The passage speaks of His grave and His purity. Grief and sorrow tell a tale much more painful than scourging itself. Jesus came not only to bear our sins, but also our burdens. In your pain, know this one truth: you are not alone.
