Training is sub-par. General manager is awesome, other managers range from so-so to one of the worst managers I've ever had. Co-workers are awesome. Very fun and exciting place to work!
Can't wait to go back! Full disclosure, I worked at a very fun location in a very fun city so most of you probably won't have the same experience I did. We were extremely busy every single day, the location was very big. The tourists were always interesting and the city never sleeps so we had a lot of fun and made a lot of money while working. Im not gonna pretend like there weren't bad things too, every job has drawbacks but if Im being honest, I didn't mind the drawbacks here so much.
Pros Great tips, Flexible shift schedule, Great coworkers. Cons High volume environment won't be for everyone, Somewhat shady upper management, No HR help, Hourly pay isn't great. SOP and recipes aren't followed, basic sanitation lacking, broken equipment is the norm. The pay can be decent but is nowhere near worth the headache.
